The Port of Anacortes is the fifth port in the State of Washington to become a Green Marine participant and the 22nd United States port to do so, equalling the number of Canadian ports participating in the programme.

The Port of Anacortes is dedicated to developing and managing port facilities and services that stimulate the local economy while also preserving the environment and the community’s quality of life. The port is committed to protecting and enhancing the natural environment through a proactive program involving prevention, remediation and education.

Its marine terminal located within a deep-water port between Seattle in Washington and Vancouver in British Columbia services breakbulk cargo, high and heavy projects, as well as providing moorage services.

Three centrally located piers facilitate direct access to an established heavy haul route leading to the state highway system. With dock and upland laydown areas, the marine terminal is a valuable solutions provider for various requirements.
