Environmental Manager Maryland Port Administration
Bill Richardson is the environmental manager for the Maryland Port Administration. He is responsible for compliance with environmental regulations. He began his career with the Maryland Port Administration in 2008. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Maryland at College Park. Job highlights include programs to remove all underground storage tanks from MPA marine terminals, to manage stormwater and improve water quality, to develop waste stream management processes, to reduce air emissions through several voluntary initiatives and receiving ISO 14001, Environmental Management System, certification. Prior to working for the Maryland Port Administration he worked for Maryland Department of the Environment.
