Konecranes eco-efficient lift truck concept
Konecranes has launched three green driveline solutions for lift trucks aimed at delivering between 25 and 40% fuel savings for operators.
The Ecolifting concept consists of the Power Drive option which can provide up to 15% fuel savings; Flow Drive, with up to 25% fuel savings; and the pioneering Hybrid Drive, offering up to 40% fuel savings.
“We are continuously improving the environmental performance of our products, processes and services for our customers around the world,” said Håkan Andersson, product manager, Konecranes Lift Trucks.
“Our customers can make better choices for the environment without compromising the performance and power of their machines.”
Of the three options, Power Drive is the most cost-efficient way to start reducing emissions and fuel expenses, due to its very short payback time.
Power Drive saves on fuel and cost, yet retains the same power, saving thousands of euros annually compared to lift trucks with a normal driveline.
Flow Drive cuts down fuel consumption and emissions while increasing the time spent on active operations with a minimal financial investment. The solution brings concrete benefits to everyday operations – a precise, smooth ride, reduced noise and less cabin vibration – and a significant increase in overall productivity. Flow Drive cuts down fuel consumption by up to 25%.
The Hybrid Drive lift truck is a leader in the next generation of sustainable lift trucks, down fuel consumption by up to 40% benefitting business, users, processes and the environment.
