Envirosuite ups air quality market share
Envirosuite Limited has acquired Odotech Inc to offer better air quality management in odour, gaseous contaminant and dust-intensive environments.
The acquisition of the environmental monitoring and management company will enable Envirosuite to widen its market share in industries such as wastewater, composting, pulp and paper, where odour is a major cause of environmental issues and complaints.
Peter White, chief executive officer at Envirosuite, said: “The acquisition will further build on our strategy in environmental management best practice…”
He added that the combined companies are now “well placed to capitalise on the building groundswell of interest in air quality management that we are seeing across the globe.”
The acquisition of Odotech, which has over 70 sites worldwide and includes the OdoWatch platform to supports active air quality management for sites managed by industries and municipal services, is anticipated to bolster Envirosuite’s existing technology platform offering and enable it to compete more effectively on a global scale.
Envirosuite said the “complementary elements” of the Odotech platform will be incorporated into the Envirosuite SaaS platform. The company has recently been awarded contracts for air quality monitoring in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
