The main purpose of the Offshore Resource Manager role is to manage the provision of offshore resourcing to all CWind operated vessels/sites and to manage employee rotations for the safe and effective delivery of our projects. You are to ensure all projects have competent personnel who fully understand their role and responsibility and who fulfils both the client and company’s project requirements. Ideally suited to a dynamic, analytic, fast thinking individual with good communication and diplomacy skills who is able to respond to a very dynamic 24/7 mentality business.

Being part of the CWind team, Your duty as Offshore Resource Manager, will be managing the day-to-day people resource service activities for the CWind Offshore team including but not limited to;

Key Deliverables:

Managing the Offshore Resource Team in the following activities

  • Arrange and coordinate travelling arrangements for our CWind offshore team in liaison with the Project Manager
  • Verification of qualifications/documentation prior to joining
  • Keep contact with employees on leave as relevant, monitoring of holiday and absences.
  • Update employee records and office computer records as relevant
  • Handling visas, and other required documentation – if and when required
  • Responsible for maintaining updated people plans and execution of agreed people strategies
  • Responsible for providing all necessary documents to payroll before the 16th of each month
  • In partnership with the Project manager, recruit vessel based contractors and ensuring all compliance checks are completed
  • Responsible for maintaining company records for all offshore personnel from crew manning pool under Offshore Resource Manager responsibility
  • Handle all documentation, administration and deployment of crew and other offshore personnel
  • Follow up of mandatory certificates renewal, medical follow up, pre-assignment / Post-assignment briefings
  • Performance appraisal follow up, monthly reporting
  • Preparation of monthly reports and KPI’s
  • Prepare cost information for business planning purposes and maintain an overview of costs, including applicable budgets
  • Working as part of a team of stakeholders to design and deliver manning solutions
  • Supporting the Global Marine Group Training Manager & Global Marine Group HR in the delivery of Career development plans
  • Other crew matters as directed by the Director, Cwind
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in manning or people resource services
  • Diploma in Crew Management, or CIPD Qualification (part or full) or equivalent
  • Fluent in English language (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Computer literate proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience of communicating with ships personnel and a working knowledge of marine terminology and culture
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels and backgrounds
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to travel nationally at short notice. International travel maybe required
  • People management skills
