Two important conferences are being held to help decision makers deal with sustainable environmental practice that will enable them to effectively implement the changes required. 'GreenPort Logistics' and 'Energy for Green Ports' will be co-located at Marittima, Terminal 103, Venice Passenger Terminal on 23 and 24 February 2011.
To secure the future economic success of ports and terminals, there is an ongoing need to address carbon management and energy reduction. Around the world, ports and terminal are viewed as critical infrastructure and are subject to governmental control and regulations. The ability to respond and ‘go green’ by reducing their carbon footprint and being more sensitive to environmental considerations are vital.
The emphasis of these events will be on examining practical, economically viable solutions as well as applications and case studies.
