GreenPort Logistics
To secure the future economic success of ports and terminals, there is an ongoing need to address carbon management and energy reduction. Around the world, ports and terminal are viewed as critical infrastructure and are subject to governmental control and regulations. The ability to respond and ‘go green’ by reducing their carbon footprint and being more sensitive to environmental considerations are vital.
These two important conferences are being held to help decision makers deal with sustainable environmental practice that will enable them to effectively implement the changes required. They will be co-located at Marittima, Terminal 103, Venice Passenger Terminal on 23 and 24 February 2011. The emphasis of these events will be on examining practical and economically viable solutions.
